    Tour Attractions

    Lake of Bays Scenic Drive
Sometimes the journey can be as enjoyable as the destination. Travel around Lake of Bays with stops in the charming hamlets of Baysville, Dwight and Dorset.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at Eclipse Restaurant & Terrace - Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville
Sweeping lake vistas are the ideal accompaniments to generous breakfasts and great dining experiences with family and friends. Our signature Savour Muskoka inspired dining room is known for locally-inspired menus, bountiful buffets, Muskoka’s longest running Sunday brunch and experienced and courteous service.

    Lion’s Lookout
This lookout in Huntsville offers two truly remarkable vantage points. One vista overlooks the charming town of Huntsville, while another gives you an unobstructed view of Fairy Lake. Truly worth the hike up to the top. Lions Lookout is a 0.8 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Huntsville, Ontario, Canada that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking.

High Falls and Little High Falls
    • Height: 16m
    • Crest: 30m
    • Water Source: North Branch Muskoka River
This is a big waterfall, and probably the most spectacular waterfall in Muskoka! It has been called the "Niagara of the North" by some, although I think that this is pushing it a little... The falls is formed where the north branch of the Muskoka River falls over a significant ridge of gneiss. The Muskoka River continues south and falls again at Wilsons Falls and then the two Bracebridge Falls. A footbridge across the crest of the falls does spoil the picture a bit, but the consolation is that you can explore the far side of the falls, where a smaller separate fall is hidden from the typical viewpoints.

    Oxtongue River-Ragged Falls Provincial Park
Widely considered one of the top 10 waterfalls in Ontario, Ragged Falls is one of the most spectacular of the many natural wonders waiting to be explored in Lake of Bays. Part of the lovely Oxtongue River-Ragged Falls Provincial Park, the falls is delightful to visit year-round, though for a special treat be sure to visit during the spectacular Fall colours in late September through October. Framed by the rich reds and golds of the many trees lining its length, it’s a sight to behold, especially around Gravel Falls where you can see the glacial meltwater flowing at its fiercest. Located close to the western gates of Algonquin Provincial Park, the spectacular whitewater rapids and falls are easy to reach via a short trail leading up from the public parking area.

    Bracebridge Falls
Located right downtown, the Silver Bridge and Bracebridge Falls is an iconic scene. Head down Wharf Rd to Bracebridge Bay Park and see ten historic information plaques and identify points of interest along the route.

    ADD ON - OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

    Guided canoeing to Ragged Falls
Take a break and enjoy an easy lake and river paddle to the base of scenic Ragged Falls, departing right from our Oxtongue Lake dock. This is one of our most popular day trips!
Enjoy an easy lake and river paddle to scenic Ragged Falls and back. See this beautiful waterfall from your canoe, and explore the scenic bay just beyond our dock on Oxtongue Lake. It’s a great spot for photos.

Guided canoeing to Ragged Falls includes canoes, paddles, PFDs, and a guide in each canoe to facilitate the experience.

    MUSKOKA STEAMSHIPS
Welcome aboard 130-year-old historic steamship R.M.S. Segwun and the modern replica steamship Wenonah II – the only fleet of its kind in Canada. Built in 1887, Segwun is North America’s oldest operating steamship and an Ontario tourism icon. Wenonah II, launched in 2002, combines turn-of-the-century charm with modern conveniences such as air-conditioning and an elevator. Wenonah II, the first steamship to sail Lake Muskoka, comfortably accommodates up to 216 passengers. A Lake Muskoka Steamship Cruise from Gravenhurst Ontario is a great way to explore the Lake Muskoka region. Is there a better way to fall colors?
