    This tour begins from your hotel in Lisbon and ends in Porto, taking you through some of Portugal’s most enchanting towns (Óbidos, Nazaré, Tomar, Coimbra, and Aveiro) along the way. It also features exciting excursions to Braga, Guimarães, and the breathtaking Douro Valley!

    Note on Physical Ability and Fitness Level: This tour is not recommended for those with mobility issues, as many towns in Northern Portugal feature hilly terrain, cobbled streets, and uneven surfaces. To fully enjoy the experience, participants should be able to walk unassisted for up to 3 hours at a moderate pace, including on uphill and downhill paths.

    • 10:30 Nazaré (capital of big waves 1h)
    • 12:00 Lunch in Nazare (1h)
    • 2:00 pm Batalha (Batalha Monastery visit)
    • 3:00 pm visit to the Convent of Christ in Tomar, one of the most iconic monuments linked to the Knights Templar.
    • 5:00pm Drop off in Tomar - Hotel dos Templários
     
    Day 2 - SAT 14 March 2026) Tomar >> Coimbra >> Aveiro >> Porto
    • 09:00 am Pick up from the Hotel in Tomar  
    • 10:30 - 12:00 Coimbra (visit University, Royal Palace, Saint Michael's Chapel, Great Hall of Acts, and Baroque Joanine Library)

    • 3:30 - 5:00 pm Aveiro (Possibility of taking a 45-minute Traditional Moliceiro Boat Ride)

    Day 3 - SUN 15 March 2026) Porto: City Tour  
    Enjoy a 3-hour guided walking tour of Porto's main attractions. Discover the city’s history, culture, and traditions as you visit historic neighborhoods and narrow streets. Visit Porto Cathedral,  Avenida dos Aliados, Livraria Lello & Irmao, Clérigos Church, Rua Santa Catarina, Mercado do Bolhão
     
    Day 4 - MON 16 March 2026) Porto: The magical Douro Valley, wine tasting, Lunch, and river cruise
    * Enjoy a scenic journey through the Douro Valley, the heart of Portugal’s wine country, with stops at picturesque towns and a renowned wine estate (quintas).
    * Taste premium wines on an authentic vineyard experience, in the heart of the Douro Valley.
    * Enjoy a Panoramic Douro River Cruise (1 hour) on a traditional Rabelo boat. 
    * Enjoy a delicious traditional Portuguese meal paired with some local Douro table wines.  
    * Visit charming towns, like Amarante, Pinhão, São Leonardo de Galafura viewpoint, and Road N222.
     
    Day 5 - TUE 17 March 2026) Porto: Excursion to Braga and Guimarães
    * Discover Braga, the "Rome of Portugal", with its magnificent Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte and historic cathedral
    * Step back in time in Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its medieval streets and castle
     
    Day 6 - WED 18 March 2026) Porto: 6 bridges Cruise + Wine Tour & Tasting in GAYA 
    Enjoy a Six Bridges Cruise with an exceptional Wine Cellar Tour and tasting!
     
    Day 7 - THU 19 March 2026) Porto >> Hotel Check-Out
    Check-out from the hotel is scheduled before 11:00 AM.
    A transfer from your hotel to the airport is included if you booked the same flight as your Canadian Tour Director.
    NOTE: If your flight's departure is very early, please note that you will miss your breakfast at the hotel on this day! The buffet breakfast at Mercure Porto Centro Santa Catarina is available daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

    Payment Terms:
    • A $300 deposit per person is required to secure your spot (non-refundable, but creditable for future tours if you cancel before the final payment).

    • We’ll send you a reminder email for balance payments, but if you’ll be away with limited email access, please pay early so you don’t miss a deadline. 
    Installment Schedules (by E-transfer):
    • Step 1 – Deposit: $300 per person (non-refundable, but transferable as credit for future tours).
    • Step 2 – First Installment: 50% of the balance – due by 10 October 2025
    • Step 3 – Final Installment: 50% of the balance – due by 10 December 2025
    Cancellation & Refunds:
    • 50% Penalty if canceled between 11 October 2025 and 10 December 2025.
    • 100% Penalty if canceled between 11 December 2025 and the departure date.
    • Penalties are calculated based on the total package price per person, regardless of the amount already paid at the time of cancellation, or the method of payment (Visa, Debit, or E-transfer).

    You don't need a visa for Portugal if you have a Canadian / US passport. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the date of leaving Europe. If you do not hold a Canadian or US passport, it is your responsibility to ensure you meet all Entry and Exit requirements, including obtaining any necessary visas.
