Tour's duration: approx.12.5 hours
8.00 AM: Our 1st Pick-up location is: 30 Courtney Park Drive East, Mississauga. (Please arrive 15 Min earlier)
8.30 AM: Our 2nd pick-up location is: York Mills Station
9.00 AM: Our 3rd pick-up location is: Scarborough Town Centre
10.00 – 10.30 AM: We have a short coffee/washroom stop on the way
11.30-12.30: Visit Pieter’s Appleyard Orchards to enjoy a Hay Wagon Ride through the orchards, and shop their apple market – or, how about picking your own in the Orchard?
1.00 - 2.00: Enjoy a 3-course Lunch @ Timber Ridge Golf Course. (The served meal consists of starters of white and whole wheat dinner rolls plus a Caesar's salad. Chicken breast in a mushroom sauce with roasted potatoes and hot seasonal veggies. With desserts, (usually pies) tea/coffee.)
2.30-4.00 PM: Enjoy a guided tour of Presqu'ile Provincial Park.
Park features: 2.5 km sandy beach / 16 km of trails and paths along shorelines and through woodlands and meadows / A migration hotspot in spring and fall, 336 bird species recorded with 130 breeding species / 1 km marsh boardwalk trail accessing the largest protected marsh on the north shore of Lake Ontario / Two Visitor Centres; Nature Centre open daily in summer and the Lighthouse Centre open daily in summer and on weekends in the spring and fall / Second oldest operating lighthouse in Ontario / World class spring bird migration – waterfowl in March, warblers and shorebirds in May.
Presqu'ile is one of Ontario's most visited provincial parks. You can spend a whole day there and still not see everything; different ecosystems, birding, plant studies, historical ship wreck (the Speedy), the Park store and Museum etc.. .
5.00-5.30: We will have a stop at the Sprucewood Handmade Cookie Factory in Cobourg. Lots of free samples of sweet, savoury and spicy shortbread cookies. Chatelaine Magazine called these shortbread cookies as Canada's Finest way back in 2014.
6.00 – 6.30: Visit Ganaraska River at Port Hope Conservation Area to see the Salmon Run.
7.30 : drop-off @ Scarborough Town Centre
8.00: drop-off @ York Mills Station
8.30: drop-off @Mississauga

• Our tours are in ENGLISH language only.
• Appropriate clothing and footwear is highly recommended (based on the weather). PLEASE wear long pants and walking shoes for the nature hike.

PARKING / PICK- UP Location
1st pick-up location: Mississauga - The address of the plaza is 30 Courtney Park Drive East, Mississauga. The bus will stop outside the plaza, right in front of the McDonalds-on Hurontario. You can wait in the McDonalds until the bus arrives. The bus will be visible through the restaurant windows. Cars can be parked for the day in the plaza parking lot. Parking is free.
2nd pick-up location: York Mills Subway Station. The bus will stop on Yonge St., directly outside the Starbucks at 4025 Yonge St. This is the York Mills Centre office building on the North-East corner of Yonge St. & York Mills Rd. The York Mills subway station is in the basement of this building. If it is raining or snowing, you are welcome to wait either in Starbucks or in the lobby of the office tower until you see the bus stop in front of Starbucks. For day trips, cars can be parked in the parking lot directly across the street on the North-West corner of Yonge & York Mills Rd. This is a pay and display parking lot.
3rd pick-up location: Scarborough Town Centre (Address: 300 Borough Dr, Scarborough, ON M1P 4P5) . The bus stops directly outside the Cineplex movie theatres at the Scarborough Town Centre. This pickup location is suitable for day trips. IF YOU NEED TO PARK YOUR CAR: Park anywhere near the movie theatres. Free parking all day. Cars cannot be left overnight after 2 AM.
