    Incredible Waterfall Hikes in the Finger Lakes, New York

    Travel Date: 2-4 June 2023
    Tour's duration: 3 days/2 nights
    4 Pick-up locations: Vaughan Carpool, York Mills Station, Mississauga Carpool, and Oakville/Burlington (Appleby Line Carpool)
    Group size: approx 50 participants (It is going to be a bus tour from Toronto)
    We will be Hiking/Visiting at least 30 Waterfalls during the trip with a professional hike leader

    Day 1, FRI 2 June 2023) Toronto >> Buffalo >> Finger Lakes area (Northern NY state)
    7.00 AM: 1st pickup from Vaughan Carpool (Hwy 400 & Hwy 7). (Please arrive 15 Min earlier)
    7.30 AM: 2nd pickup from York Mills Station (Yonge/York Mills) 
    8.00 AM: 3rd pickup from Mississauga Carpool (Hway 401/ Hurontario)
    8.45 AM: 3rd pickup from Appleby Line Carpool (Burlington) - See details below for pick-ups and parking*.  
    9.30-10.00 AM: Breakfast/washroom stop on the way
    10.00 - 11.00 AM: Border crossing

    - Eternal Flame Waterfall (walk in and out total 1.5k)
    - Brook Falls - Mount Morris (0.5k walk)
    - Letchworth (Lower/Middle/Upper Falls) options 2.2k or 4.5k
    7.00 PM: Arrive at Quality Inn Bath, NY (2.5-star)

    - Watkins Glen (17 waterfalls) 1.5k walk
    - Montour Falls (1k walk)
    - Robert Treman - Lucifer/Lower Falls (2k walk)
    - Lick Brook Falls (0.5k walk)
    - Cascadilla Falls (0.5k walk)
    - Ithaca Falls (0.5k walk)
    - Buttermilk Falls (0.5k walk)
    - Taughannock Falls (2 locations to view), (1.5k walk)
    6.30 PM: Arrive at Hotel Quality Inn Near Finger Lakes And Seneca Falls, Waterloo, NY (3-star)
    Day 3, SUN 4 June 2023) Finger Lakes >> Rochester >> Niagara Falls >> Toronto
    7.00 - 8.00 AM: Breakfast at our hotel 
    8.00 AM: Departure from the hotel

    - Rochester (lower/middle/upper), (1k walk)
    - Buttermilk Falls (1k walk)
    - Niagara Falls (Horseshoe/American/Bridal Veil)
    3.30-4.30 PM: Border crossing
    5.00 - 6.30 PM: Enjoy an elegant Farewell Dinner at Queen Victoria Place Restaurant with a spectacular panoramic view of the majestic falls. 
    7.30 PM: Drop off @ Oakville/Burlington (Appleby Line Carpool)
    8.00 PM: Drop off @ Mississauga Carpool
    8.30 PM: Drop off @ York Mills Station
    9.00 PM: Drop off @ Vaughan Carpool
    The drop-off times are all approximate, and subject to change based on the Traffic.

    * End Plastic Pollution: we will no longer offer single-use plastic water bottles on our tours since many end up in our landfills, lakes, oceans, and rivers. We encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle. 


    1st pick-up location: Vaughan Carpool Lot (Hway 400/Major Mackenzie Dr. W). Address: Hwy 400 Carpool Lot Stop # 5749 Vaughan, ON L4H 2V7
    This carpool lot is at the intersection of Hwy 400 & Major Mackenzie Dr. W. This is a Government of Ontario, Ministry of Transportation Carpool Lot. Cars may be left here for up to 5 days. Parking is free. CLICK HERE to see on map
    2nd pick-up location:  York Mills Station (Yonge/York Mills) - Address: 4025 Yonge St North York, ON M2P 2E3.
    The bus will stop on Yonge St. northeast side of York Mills Rd. This is the York Mills Centre office building on the North-East corner of Yonge St. & York Mills Rd. The York Mills subway station is in the basement of this building. If it is raining or snowing, you are welcome to wait in the lobby of the office tower until you see the bus stop in front of the building. CLICK HERE to see on map
    3rd pick-up location:  Mississauga Carpool (Carpool Parking 401/ Hurontario) - Address: 401 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5W 1N3
    The entrance into the carpool lot is on the west side of Hurontario, between the ramps to Hwy 401 East and Hwy 401 West. This parking lot is not easily visible from Hurontario and can be easily missed so please carefully follow the P Carpool signs. Detailed instructions from all four directions are given below. This is a Government of Ontario, Ministry of Transportation parking lot. Cars may be left here for up to 5 days. Parking is free. Our bus stops in the parking area on your left-hand side.     4th pick-up location: Oakville / Burlington - Address: Carpool Lot - Appleby/407, Appleby Line, Burlington, ON
    The bus will stop in the MTO Carpool lot on the west side of Appleby Line just north of Hwy 407. Cars may be left here for up to 5 days. Parking is free. CLICK HERE to see on map


    This tour is NOT recommended for those with mobility issues. Although the hikes on the trip are short, some will require at least a modicum of physical fitness. Participants should wear hiking boots or strong walking shoes. Walkers who regularly use walking sticks are encouraged to bring them. You may also wish to bring water bottles on the hikes.

    • * Appropriate footwear “sturdy walking /hiking shoes” and clothing (based on the weather) are highly recommended.
    • * We pre-assign seats based on first paid first served. In case you and your companion booked/paid separately, to be seated together, please let us know at the time of your booking. If you forgot to do so, please send an email to: after making the booking.

    • * No ice cream allowed on our buses!

    Level of difficulty: Easy-Medium  
    As a minimum, you will need an average level of fitness and mobility to join this tour. Partaking in group travel can be more "physically demanding" than your more conventional holidays. You should be able to walk 1.5-2 hours without the aid of another person, climb a couple of stairs, step on and off buses, and other forms of transport.

    The hikes are a maximum of 1.5-2 hours and are NOT very challenging. In each location, we will have a guided walk/hike to see the attractions and take pictures. 
    Travel Documents
    US Immigration requires that all travelers MUST have a valid passport (or Nexus or EDL cards).  If you do not have a Canadian or USA passport, please make sure that you have the appropriate permissions or documentation to travel to the USA. YOU CAN NOT TRAVEL IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ALL REQUIRED TRAVEL DOCUMENTS, SUCH AS PASSPORT AND VISA (if applicable).
